Appearance: 

Large, powerful dog with a deep chest and a strong muscular body. Features a thick coat and a dense undercoat.

Any color with the only acceptable solid color as white.


Grooming: 
Requires regular grooming. Sheds heavily in warmer months.

Temperament: 

Affectionate and friendly dogs with no real aggressive tendencies. Suited to the colder weather and should be kept inside during the warmer months.


Lifespan: 
15 years

History: 

Originated from the northern part of Alaska bred to haul sleds and supplies thru the snow. Bred for endurance and tremendous pulling power.


Health Concerns: 

Bloat and hip dysplasia.
