Appearance: 

Resembling a lamb, has a slender frame with a narrow head and long muzzle. The coat is short, dense and curly with long hair on its skull and muzzle and tassels at the end of its ears.


Color: 

Blue, liver, sandy, blue and tan, liver and tan and sandy and tan.


Grooming: 
High level of grooming required. Trimming necessary every 5 to 6 weeks.

Temperament: 

Athletic, courageous terrier that forms strong family bonds. A good natured dog with high intelligence. This is an active dog that needs regular exercise and mental stimulation.


Lifespan: 
18 years

History: 

Originated in England to hunt rats. Was later crossed with the Whippet for greater speed and endurance.


Health Concerns: 

Liver, kidney and eye problems.
