Appearance: 

Short-legged, compact, small dogs covered in an all white wiry, weather resistant double coat. The head is broad and long and distinguished by a beard and moustache. The ears are folded and level with the top of the head. The eyes are dark, set wide apart and have that common "terrier" expression. The tail is docked and carried upright.

Temperament: 

Active, lively, intelligent, fearless dogs that love to dig and chase. They are playful and loving and make great family companions. They require daily mental and physical stimulation.

History: 

Originated in Wales to quarry badger, fox and otter. They were used around the farm to hunt rats and vermin.
