Appearance:
Medium-sized, athletic dogs covered in short, smooth coats of golden brown. The head is broad, well-defined and the muzzle is tapered. The ears are large, silky and hang close to the head. The tail is usually docked and carried level.

Temperament:
Intelligent, athletic, energetic dogs that are loving and mild. They are patient and good with children and other pets. They should be kept in a fenced in area. They have a strong prey drive. They like to dig and chew.
