Small, sturdy dogs covered in short, curly coats. The head is broad and flat and the muzzle is long. The ears are v-shaped, set high and usually folded forward. The tail is usually docked and held erect.
White with markings.
Lively, high-energy, fearless little dogs with a strong prey drive. They should be kept in a fenced in area. They are playful and loving and generally get along well with children and other pets. They make great family companions for the active family.
One of the oldest of the English Terrier breeds. Originated in England in the 1800's to chase foxes out of their dens.
Generally free of genetic disorders.
